{"id":12289,"date":"2020-04-23T07:07:20","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T14:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keytlaw.com\/azllclaw\/?p=12289"},"modified":"2020-04-23T07:07:20","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T14:07:20","slug":"acc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keytlaw.com\/azllclaw\/2020\/04\/acc\/","title":{"rendered":"Arizona Corporation Commission Adds 2 Hour &#038; Same Day \/ Next Day Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On April 22, 2020, the Arizona Corporation Commission announced that it added 2 hour and\u00a0 &#8220;Same Day \/ Next Day Services.&#8221;\u00a0 These filing fees are $400, $200 and $100, respectively.\u00a0 Nevertheless I am still able to file LLC Articles of Organization and get them approved by the ACC on the same day for the $85 expedited filing fee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following is the text of the ACC&#8217;s notice about its new services and fees.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SAME DAY\/NEXT DAY SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Services offered:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Same Day\/Next Service will allow for 2-hour, same day or next day processing for a fee.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Does not guarantee approval of a filing<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only guarantees examination by stated time, not necessarily receipt of the document<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">***NOTE: Corporations Division will no longer accept \u201curgency requests\u201d***<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fees:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2-Hour: $400<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Must be received by 3:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Will be examined within 2 hours of the time the document was received<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Same Day: $200<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be received by 10:00 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Will be examined by 5:00 p.m. the same business day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Next Day: $100<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be received by 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Will be examined by 5:00 p.m. the next business day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fees are in addition to document filing fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Restrictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although documents can be filed online on the weekends or the holidays, the same day\/next day clock begins the next business day at 8:00 a.m. AZ time.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Document limit may apply to restructuring filings (mergers, domestication, conversions and divisions), foreign entity filings and changes \u2013 we will evaluate this on a case by case basis.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will not accept mailed documents for same day\/next day filing. This includes FedEX and other overnight services.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We do not offer pre-clearance. To avoid rejections, please make sure that you know the requirements for the filing and have provided everything that is needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Delivery of documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will accept documents online, via fax and by walk-in.<\/li>\n<li>Faxes will only be accepted at 602-542-0900<\/li>\n<li>Walk-ins accepted in Phoenix and in Tucson<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">One Cover Sheet cannot include both regular processing and expedited\/same day-next day processing.
