35 Picture Police Raid Granny’s Home, Hold Her at Gun Point While Searching for Pictures of Her Grandkids

The Louisville, Kentucky Courier Journal reports on another police outrage involving pictures taken by a parent and developed by a film processing company.  An employee processing the film noticed pictures of Michael Ramage and  two nude kids and a picture of Ramage’s genitalia.  The ever vigilant do-gooder called the Louisville Crimes Against Children Unit.  Rather than using human analysis and intelligence to assess the situation, the “it’s not my fault” Louisville police department ran the numbers through its SWAT-matrix and when the matrix score was a 29, the robots per department policy had to execute a SWAT bust on granny’s home.  The Courier Journal story says:

“Backed by a helicopter and a $300,000 armored vehicle, 35 members of the Louisville Metro SWAT team stormed her [57 year old grandmother Sharon Ramage] Okolona property, detonated a deafening “flash bang” device, smashed in her rear door, put her on the floor, bound her wrists with flex cuffs and held her at gunpoint while detectives searched the home.Police were looking for evidence against her 32-year-old son, Michael Ramage, who was under investigation after dropping off film at a Wal-Mart store showing him and his two sons naked.  But the search uncovered no evidence, and charges against Ramage for using a minor in a sexual performance eventually were dismissed.”

Let’s do the math:  35 heavily armed SWAT team members + 1 granny alone in her home = granny files lawsuit seeking compensatory and punitive damages and the LPD stands to lose big bucks.
