Arizona Legal Forms Library

How It Works & Why You Should Purchase My Law Forms

by Richard Keyt, Arizona contracts attorney

If you want to skip my sales pitch and explanation of how my Arizona state specific legal form program works and why you should purchase Arizona law forms from me, click on the link below to go directly to my Arizona law forms library.  If this is the first time you've been here, however, I suggest you read my pitch because knowledge is power.

Arizona Legal Forms Library

I have been practicing law in Arizona since 1980.  Primarily my law practice is preparing legal documents (mostly contracts) for my clients.  I bought my first computer and WordPerfect 2.0 in 1983.  Since then every time I needed a contract for a client, I created a form and then modified it for the client.  As a result, I have hundreds of legal forms in my forms library.

My goal is to sell my library of copyrighted Arizona legal forms to the public for $47, $97 and $147.  The price is based on the length and complexity of the form.  At first glance you may think those are high at prices, but they are substantially below what most attorneys would charge to prepare the same legal documents.  You can purchase my Do-It-Yourself Promissory Note and Deed of Trust for $94.  Let me know if you can hire an Arizona attorney to prepare those two documents for a price anywhere near $94.  Hint:  Most attorney like to charge high hourly rates and bill by the hour, which means the less time they work the less they charge.

All Forms Are Arizona Specific & Comply with Arizona Law

A legal contract that works in one state may not work in another state because of differences in the law of the two states.  The problem with buying software off the internet or in a store is that most of the forms are created by nonlawyers or lawyers who are not licensed to practice law in Arizona and/or who lack substantial contract drafting experience in Arizona.  If you are in Arizona and have a transaction that involves people and property in Arizona, then you must use contracts that comply with Arizona law or you could be very sorry.

I have been practicing law in Arizona since 1980 and have created thousands of contracts that work in Arizona.  In the Arizona Court of Appeals case of Langley Farm Investments, LLC, v. Anders Karlson et al, one of my contracts was blessed by the Arizona Court of Appeals.  See paragraph 5 on page 3.  I wrote the language in Section 20 that the court found allowed the seller to cancel an existing contract.

I created all of my Do-It-Yourself Arizona law forms to comply with Arizona law where I have practiced my entire legal career.  When you purchase my law forms, you are getting the benefit of an Arizona contract lawyer prepared legal document for much less than what you would have to pay most lawyers to create for you.

All Forms Are Sent Via Email & May Be Edited

When you purchase one of my Do-It-Yourself Arizona specific legal forms in my secure online store, my system will immediately send you an email message with the form attached as a Microsoft Word 2003 file.  All forms may be edited in Word or imported into another word processor.

You Are Not Just Buying a Dumb Text "Is That All I Get" Form

When you buy one of my Do-It-Yourself law forms, you are not just buying the form.  You are also buying detailed instructions on how to edit and revise your form so that your finished product will actually work.  Each form comes with detailed instructions on how to use the form and that explains important items of information you need to make the document work.  For example, see the detailed instructions for my Deed of Trust form.  The following is a list of some important facts explained in the instructions for my Deed of Trust:

  1. Purpose and how it is used (included 3 cautions).
  2. Signers/parties.
  3. Limitations.
  4. Notary?
  5. Recording information.
  6. Separate Property Warning - when you need a spouse to sign a Disclaimer Deed.
  7. Explanation of Trust and sample trustor names.
  8. Explanation of Beneficiary.
  9. Explanation of Trustee with statutory qualifications to be a trustee.  Did you know that every Deed of Trust must have a trustee and most people do not qualify to be the trustee?  See Arizona Revised Statutes Section 33-803.  This is an example of the important information contained in the detailed instructions for each of my AZ law forms.
  10. Importance of the legal description and where to get it.
  11. Explanation of the due on Sale clause.
  12. Acknowledgement before a notary.
  13. Signing instructions.

Disclaimer

The forms are sold "as is" without any representations or warranties.  Because using a form will create legal rights and obligations, we recommend that you consult with an attorney before using or editing a form.  The purchaser of a form does not become a client of Richard Keyt or the KEYTLaw, LLC, firm.  When you buy a legal form, you are buying a product, not legal services or legal advice.
